The training practitioner's word is final.
The training practitioner is experienced, qualified and insured to undertake all training treatments.
Acceptance on to the training course does not automatically mean a PASS. Delegates have to prove they're competency through academia, practical and discussion. Only the training practitioner will decide if a certificate can be awarded at the end of the course.
Delegates must not apply for any course at Peppermint Training Academy if you lack skills and confidence in giving injections, dealing with people or assessment. Aesthetics is very much a hands on industry with heavy consequences should you lack the skills required. Also, the aesthetics industry is incredibly competitive more than most realise so making a 'quick buck' doesn't exist.
Delegates MUST be made aware that Peppermint Training Academy is not responsible for any actions on its delegates clients once the training course has finished. Peppermint can only teach the basics, it is up to the delegate/s to take the new taught skills forward and to gain their own experience. Peppermint can only give advice after the course.
The practitioner/trainer will ensure that all treatments are carried out in the appropriate setting and are clean and tidy, with all used equipment disposed of appropriately.
The practitioner/trainer may ask if photo’s can be taken with certain treatments for validation, training and portfolio purposes. Certain photos taken will be used for marketing purposes. All models must be asked if the delegate can take a photo/video whilst training.
Peppermint Academy is not responsible for any social media groups set up between delegates or models..
All training material is copyright to Peppermint Training Academy and can not be copied or sold under any circumstances. Peppermint will never send training material electronically. Delegates will be given training booklets on the course, keep it safe as Peppermint will not supply another. Peppermint can only give you the foundation on which you build your own skills.
Peppermint Training Academy takes no responsibility for any delegates personal belongings under any circumstances.
We are unable accommodate wheelchairs and people who are unable to climb stairs.
All our courses are moderated with The CPD Certification Service which allows us to train our delegates to a high standard.
GENERAL - MODELS
All models will receive their treatment under the strictest supervision of the practitioner in charge.
Models must be over the age of 18 years old on the day of their treatment.
Models will be placed on a register and contacted and offered a treatment slot when required (your data will not be sold or passed to a third party under any circumstance without the models permission). Models who are on the register agree to be flexible with appointment dates and time slots.
We can only offer a model a treatment specific to the training course on the specific date. All other treatments can be undertaken as a normal client via Peppermint Aesthetics where the treatment price is in FULL.
Models will be offered a treatment in regards to what training course we are running on a specific day.
Models will have a full assessment prior to their treatment.
Models must be in good health prior to any treatment.
Models cannot be treated if they are PREGNANT/BREAST FEEDING or have an ongoing illness that is unstable or receiving outpatient medical intervention.
Models must attend their appointment with little to no make-up on.
Models must disclose all health conditions and bring a full list of their medication before any treatment can be undertaken. You maybe turned away if taking certain medication.
Models cannot have an anti-wrinkle treatment in the same area if they have already received a treatment within 12 weeks of their initial treatment. Most of our other treatments require a 2-4 weeks gap to allow swelling and the area to fully heal internally and externally. By falsifying dates you only put yourself at risk and ending up with an unsightly side affect, reaction or complication.
Models are to be punctual (on time) for their appointment.
Models MUST give as much notice as possible to cancel their appointment as little notice will disrupt the whole teaching day. If a model does not show for their appointment without notice then they will be removed from the model register.
Peppermint Academy will always give as much notice as possible if the models appointment maybe cancelled due to a delegate not attending. Peppermint will either offer an alternative date or to come in to Peppermint Aesthetics (the Company) for a treatment (not as a model) but the treatment cost will result at full price minus 10%.
Models must not have drunk alcohol 24 hrs prior to treatment.
Models are advised too hydrate with water prior to their treatment.
Models are advised to undertake any exercise prior to treatment as some treatments will prevent exercise after for a minimum of 24 hrs or longer.
Models MUST adhere to all aftercare for their safety and longevity of the treatment.
Models will pay a much discounted fee for their treatment/s which can be paid for via credit/debit card or cash on the day of the treatment/s.
Photo's will be taken before/after each treatment to satisfy insurance and consent. This is mandatory! Models can request that photo's/video's are not used for marketing/demonstration purposes. Please let the delegates or the practitioner/trainer in charge know prior to your treatment.
Models must respect the surroundings and the environment they have agree to be treated in. As you have agreed to be a model for a proposed treatment expectations may vary on the end result.
Any complications that arise will be dealt with in-house by the practitioner in charge which will be followed up by a hospital visit (if deemed necessary by the practitioner, this is non-negotiable due to your safety).
As a model, if you feel you have been mistreated or disrespected in anyway then you must put your grievance in writing with 5 working days of the treatment, after this time we are not obliged to give a response. All complaints will be dealt with, within 28 working days excluding weekends and bank holidays. Complaints must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org
Models must always remember that YOU are having a treatment as a model and expectations will/can vary. Under the supervision we will always try to achieve what is necessary and Peppermint is always on hand for aftercare and advice, if needed.
